Coach Jenna Lindsey joins the GHS Softball Coaching Staff for her first season as Junior Varsity Head Coach.
Coach Lindsey is a Gainesville native who attended and graduated from the PK Yonge Developmental Research School. She continued her education at the University of Florida, where she earned both her Bachelor of Education and Masters or Education in Special Education. Presently, Coach Lindsey is on faculty at GHS as an ESE teacher.
Coach Lindsey played softball for many years growing up, and is a product of the Gainesville Recreational Fastpitch League. Although Coach Lindsey didn't have the opportunity to play softball in high school, she truly loves and is devoted to the game. This is her first coaching position, and is looking forward to a strong and successful season with the Junior Varsity. |

Coach Dean Lindsey joins the GHS Softball Coaching Staff, and his youngest daughter Jenna, for his first season as Junior Varsity Assistant Coach.
Coach Dean brings with him many years of coaching experience in both baseball and softball, even coaching his daughter Jenna when she was younger. Coach Dean also has extensive playing experience, having played baseball through high school, and continued his baseball career as a Minor League player in the Cincinnati Reds organization.
Coach Dean is very excited about the prospects for this season, and looks forward to his return to coaching softball and to working with his daughter. |
