Gainesville High School Girls Soccer Stats:

The stats are complete for the season, and what a great season it was! We can start with our winning percentage, which is .704 on a 17-6-4 overall record:

• Our scoring leader, with 40 tallies, is Emily Dowd, who had 5 Hat Tricks for the season. Emily also finishes her High School career as the All-Time Area Scoring Leader with 163 goals over her 4 years;
• Our top assistant is Hannah Kurdila with 20 assists. She also had 22 goals of her own, with 3 Hat Tricks;
• The Lady 'Canes outscored their opponents 2.61:1;
• That's 3.67 goals-per-game scored while surrendering only 1.41 goals-per-game;
• And of the 11 girls who scored during the season, 9 of them scored more than once.

This team, anchored by an outstanding Senior Class, is the most successful GHS Lady Hurricanes team since 1989, with two District Championships and three State Playoff appearances in four years. An outstanding job, Ladies!
