Gainesville High School Girls Soccer Junior Varsity Stats:
The stats are complete for the season, and what a great season it was! We can start with our winning percentage, which is .705 on a 15-6-1 record:
- Our scoring leader, with 14 tallies, is Grace Rohan who had the lone Hat Trick for the season;
- Our top assistant is Jessica Sleeper with 10 assists;
- The JV Lady 'Canes outscored their opponents 2.24:1;
- That's 2.55 goals-per-game scored while surrendering only 1.14 goals-per-game;
- And of the 13 girls who scored during the season, 10 of them scored more than once.
Kim Straile was the top goalkeeper, maintaining a .688 goals-against-average and keeping 7 shutouts. And finally, two players have been called-up to the Varsity for the Regional tournament, Samantha Melzer and Kisha Weary. An outstanding job, Ladies!
