Sandy Roddy
Head Coach |
Sandy Roddy, Junior Varsity Lady 'Canes Head Coach, is in her 4th year coaching girls soccer at GHS. Coach Roddy spent 3 year as Junior Varsity Assistant, and is presently in her first year as Junior Varsity Head Coach.
Coach Roddy started playing soccer when she was 8 years old, and played competitively through High School. She attended Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, where she played on the Girls Varsity team all four years. In Coach Roddy's senior season at Seabreeze High School, they advanced to the 2004 FHSAA 4A State Championship game, where they lost 4-2 in a penalty kick shootout, to finish 2004 4A State Runner-Up.
Coach Roddy will graduate from the University of Florida in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. She plans to immediately attend Graduate School to earn her Master of Education, and become a high school English teacher and Soccer Coach. |
