Info || Docs 2009-10 SOCCER SEASON SCHEDULE MODIFIED (20-OCT-09) UPDATE: We have added a JV for the Wolfson away date on Thursday, November 12. This brings the total number of JV games to 17. The 2009-10 Girls Soccer season is starting to take shape. With our recent redistricting, many of the familiar faces will be replaced by new ones. The only holdover from last season's district will be Columbia. The rest of our new monster 9-team district, which we'll be in for the next two years, is listed below.
Seeding for the post season district tournament will be based on each teams' 8-game record. The decision was made to only play each district opponent once during the season. Below are 19 Varsity games and 17 JV games. The (D4) designates District 4 opponents. Our schedule is now complete for the 2009-10 season. For a quick explanation, the games on Saturday, December 19 and Monday, December 21 are part of the West Coast Soccer Event, and will take place in Venice, right next to Siesta Key which is one of the top-10 beaches in the world. So, for our yearly tournament, we will spend the first couple of days of the Christmas Holiday at the beach. Our itinerary will be to play late on Saturday, spend Sunday at the beach, with a hosted beach cookout from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on the North Jetty on Casey Key, and follow up with a morning game on Monday before heading home. Is this a cool soccer team, or what! Next, the second game versus Columbia on January 4, 2010 is NOT a district game. The game played at CYSA will count toward district standings.
